BUY - A WRITER’S BOOKSHOP
I occasionally write things. You occasionally read things. We’re both in the right place.
Here you can buy my books, find links to other peoples’ publications in which my stories appear, and occasionally you’ll find a one-off oddball at the bottom of the page. Shelf space is always at a premium here; my loss is potentially your gain.
It could only be easier if I came and read to you. And that would be way more expensive.
SHADY ACRES AND DARKER PLACES
I read Poe early in life; I cut my teeth on anthology shows like THE TWILIGHT ZONE, which introduced me to the likes of Charles Beaumont and Richard Matheson; then I discovered Ray Bradbury and Robert Bloch; and not long after, I stumbled into Harlan Ellison’s work. They all made me want to tell stories. If their names are at all familiar, then you have a sense of what you’ll find in the tales collected in SHADY ACRES AND DARKER PLACES, which brings together stories from various magazine, anthology, and online appearances over the past decade.
The trade paperback and e-book editions contain 21 tales, plus copious story notes for the ‘behind the scenes’ people. (Unsigned trade paperback orders fulfilled by Lulu.com; e-book links provided below.)
The hardcover (the true first edition) includes the same 21 tales and notes, plus a bonus section with five additional pieces ranging from a high school publication to my first professional sale. This edition is signed and numbered, limited to 50 copies, and will not be reprinted. (Signed orders fulfilled by Midnight-To-Three Publishing.)
